Take it Easy was invented by Peter Burley in the 1970s. It was first
published in the 1980s by J.W. Spear under the name "Hextension".
Since 1993 it has been manufactured by F.X. Schmid and later by Ravensburger,
and has sold in excess of half a million copies worldwide.
It has been produced in a number of different versions, from the original four
player version, through the XXL version, which catered for up to eight players,
to this year's "Ravensburger Classic" version, which provides boards
and tiles for up to six players.
There are plans to produce, in the near future, an advanced version of Take
it Easy - watch this space for further details.
