"Take it Easy!" was invented by Peter Burley and first published in the 1980s by J.W. Spear under the name "Hextension".
Since 1993 it has been manufactured by F.X. Schmid and later by Ravensburger, and has sold in excess of half a million copies worldwide.
From 2007 onwards, "Take it Easy!" will be published by Burley Games (alongside its advanced version "Take it to the Limit!") and also by Cappelen Forlag in Norway, under the name "Dilemma!".
